The SHREVE GED ACADEMY is a free GED preparation program offered 
through the Shreve Memorial Library system.  Currently, four branches 
(Atkins, Cedar Grove-Line Ave, Mooretown and Wallette), are hosting 
weekly classes featuring Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, 
and Study and Computer Skills instruction. The program also sponsors 
yearly Family Learning Events, Test Skills Seminars, and Adult Reading 
Discussion Groups. Students must be at least 18 years old to participate. 
Contact the branch listing below to speak with the Adult Education 
Specialist for more information regarding current classes.

for 1 week in March 2014.

Black History Program
There will be photos and biographies throughout the library 
during the month of February.  The fun doesn't stop there!!  
We will also be having a program to honor community 
leaders.  Groups that are scheduled to perform are 
Mahogany Theatre, and Zion Hill Baptist Church Youth and 
Young Adult Choir.
