The media alert from Cavalia created
great excitement in the Hoofbeats
office, as everyone wanted to
attend the arrival in Sydney of the
forty seven equine stars from this
spectacular, which is often labelled
as an equestrian ballet.
Cavalia, A Magical Encounter
Between Humans and Horses, had
completed their show in Brisbane and
spent 12 days of rest and relaxation at
New South Wales Equestrian Centre
in Lochinvar, before arriving at the
gleaming White Big Top - at 35m the
largest touring tent in the world.
In the show, spectators are drawn
into a dream-like world, as horses
and artists interact in front of a
constantly changing, 60 m wide,
digital projection screen.
At the 16th May Premier, attended by
an audience of 2000, which included
a vast number of celebrities from
television, film, sport, fashion and
media, it was the horses that stole the
spotlight during this unique theatrical
performance.
Cavalia has extended its stay in
Sydney due to overwhelming demand
and will now be on until the 2nd June.
