Only plastic containers labeled
as `microwave safe' are
suitable for use. Butter tubs
and other containers sold
with cold food in them are not
suitable as they can melt.
Containers usually have a `safe
for microwave use' or a `M'
stamped on the product. This
means the container is safe in
microwave for approximately
2 minutes on a medium heat.
Any longer and it runs the
risk of melting from the high
intensity heat.
