VOLUME VI EDITION NO. I on 15th Street and the bay were available from Jarvis Realtor. Lots were priced $5,000 and up. •Appearing nightly at the Ocean City Auction Gallery on the Boardwalk between 6th and 7th streets was auctioneer Mervyn Elias. •This was the first summer for Taylor Sandwich Shop, featuring Taylor Pork Roll. It was located on the Boardwalk at Dorchester Street. •At the Paddock Nite Club, host Gabby Mancini announced the addition of Al Herman as his co-host for the summer. •Hostess Mollye Ehrlich offered “continuous entertainment” at Billy Purnell’s Irish House on the Boardwalk at Caroline Street. •Two shows nightly were being offered at the Showell’s Wide Screen Theatre, which had air-conditioning for the first time this summer.
