RESERVATIONS
All reservations are subject to room allocation, availability and the
acceptance of the booking at the participating property and are
subject to each property's reservation terms and conditions.
Book early to avoid disappointment as at certain peak periods
throughout the year; our accommodation partners may have
allocated a limited number of rooms for Hightide VIP Vouchers or
Hightide Holidays incorporating The Ambassador Card bookings.
RESORT LISTINGS
The Hightide VIP Guide contains only a small selection of resorts
and hotels from the large number available under your membership.
Hightide Holidays endeavours to include only quality establishments
in our program. All rates, features, services, descriptions, images,
terms and conditions are supplied to Hightide Holidays by each
accommodation partner.
Hightide Holidays offers no guarantee of the accuracy of the
information supplied and to the suitability of the property therefore
accepts no liability for any incorrect information or misrepresentation
of products and services, offered by the accommodation partner.
Without limitation, Hightide Holidays will not be responsible if the
property or service is not available due to weather conditions or
unexpected situations including Acts of God.
Any property, services or special offers as part of the Hightide
Holidays VIP program may be altered or removed from the program
at any time. Hightide Holidays has no association or ownership in
our partner's property therefore if you have any concerns with the
service or facilities during your stay, please contact the property
management.
The AAA or self-rated star ratings are supplied by the property and
are attributed by a third party and not by Hightide Holidays. Details of
how these ratings are judged are available from AAA Tourism.
HOW TO BOOK
Check our website at www.hightide.com.au or call your Hightide
Holiday Consultant who will arrange the booking for you. Verbal
quotes are an estimate only and will be confirmed when the
reservation is placed with the property. A Pro Rata Booking
Fee applies to all bookings and the amount will be advised on
confirmation.
HIGHTIDE VIP VALID DATES
Hightide Holidays negotiate package rates with accommodation
partners usually for 12 months, beginning 1 April each year. The
Hightide VIP rates are for selected periods - some properties may
periodically release offers outside the dates negotiated.
Please contact your Hightide Holiday Consultant if no period suits
your requirements, as updated packages might be available your
chosen property or at another convenient location. You can keep up
to date by logging onto www.hightide.com.au, calling your Hightide
Holiday Consultant on 1300 769 765, or registering for our eNews.
HIGHTIDE VIP BOOKINGS
You will be asked to quote your Hightide VIP number when making
a reservation. All verbal quotes are an estimate until the booking is
confirmed and will be the total amount payable, after deduction of
any voucher value. A valid VIP voucher must be presented to the
property on check-in to access VIP rate. No room servicing, meals
or other services will be included in the price unless otherwise
specified. Hightide VIP Vouchers are fully transferable but not
refundable if lost or unused, but may be replaced for a small
administration fee.
HIGHTIDE HOLIDAYS INCORPORATING THE
AMBASSADOR CARD BOOKINGS
Please give your Hightide Card number and expiry date to your
Holiday Consultant when making a reservation to ensure you receive
the benefits of your membership. A minimum of 10% discount
off normal room rates applies to all accommodation types listed
(subject to availability) when using the Hightide Card at participating
properties. Minimum lengths of stay may apply at various times
throughout the year.
Your Hightide Card and associated discounts cannot be used
in conjunction with any Hightide VIP vouchers or telemarketing
package. The 10% best-rate guarantee applies to room-only rates
offered by the property as advertised, and accessible to the general
public. The guarantee excludes any offers made to clubs and other
member groups, organisations or where money is paid to access
the offer.
DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS
A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your
reservation with the balance due at 35 days prior to arrival. Any
bookings made 35 days or less, require full payment at the time of
booking.
If for any reason full payment is not received by the due date, we
may cancel your booking and apply cancellation charges. If you have
a problem in meeting the payment of the outstanding amount contact
your Holiday Consultant immediately.
Any deposit amount paid is deducted from the rate as advertised for
that property or service on the Hightide Holidays website.
CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING
Any amendments to your booking are subject to the accommodation
partner accepting the change and room availability. Amendments
requested within 48 hours of the arrival usually cannot be actioned.
Call your Holiday Consultant immediately if a booking change is
necessary - if accepted, a non-waivable amendment fee is applicable
and in addition, any fee imposed by the property.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
We take great care in training our Holiday Consultants to ensure they
accurately describe the products and services of Hightide Holidays.
Consumer laws apply in regard to refunds. Deposits paid at the time
of booking are non- refundable.
Cancellations made up to 35 days prior to arrival may incur a fee.
Cancellations made within 35 days of arrival will incur a fee and are
also subject to any fees imposed by the property which may be up to
100% of the booking amount.
We strongly recommend Hightide Holiday Insurance Cover at
time of booking. Please contact your Holiday Consultant for more
information.
HIGHTIDE HOLIDAYS INCORPORATING THE
AMBASSADOR CARD GENERAL CONDITIONS
When making bookings with your Hightide Card we recommend they
are made in advance. A valid member's Hightide Card is required to
ensure you are eligible to redeem the Hightide Card extra discount
or special offer.
All Hightide Card extra discounts and special offers are subject to
availability and the providing partner may also apply a surcharge
for public holidays or peak periods. The providing partner may have
specific exclusions and conditions for their Hightide Card extra
discount or special offer e.g. available up to a specific value or
cruises and outdoor activities subject to weather conditions and load
maximums.
Restaurants may restrict table numbers, have specific value
maximums, and restrict discounts or special offers to certain menu
items. Where a special of "Buy 1 get 1 Free" is offered, the meal or
item of greater value is the one to be paid and the meal or item of
equal or lesser value has the special applied.
Hightide Card extra discounts and special offers are not to be used
in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers.
