"It is important for
designers to showcase
their work at events such
as the London Garments
Expo where the garments
come alive on the
catwalk."
Isabelle Randall-
Young fashion designer
The London Garments
Expo is great for sourcing
and building international
contacts with buyers and
manufacturers interested
in the fashion and textile
industry.
"Working with the LGE
was like working with my
newly found family, the
team were fabulous. The
catwalk was fun, exciting,
challenging but most of
all rewarding and as a
team I think we nailed it.
I thoroughly enjoyed my
experience working with
the LGE and the up-and-
coming designers, as
showcasing and working
with new creative talent is
a key area I fully support.
I cannot wait to start
working on next year's
show, which is going to
be bigger, better, and like
nothing anybody has seen
before."

"The exhibition is a
good event to meet
manufacturers and we are
very thankful for London
Garments Expo for giving
us the exposure."

What made you
become a stylist?
From an early age I was known
as a rather eccentric individual.
I've always had the desire to
be involved within the fashion,
art and creative world. In my
teens, I was always trying
out my own fashion designs,
creating crazy ideas and helping
others to put outfits together.
I was addicted to trying on my
mother's wardrobe and loved to
collect items for
my own big vintage dressing
up box at the vintage charity shops which I visited during
any break I had. During one of my many shopping rituals I
realized that my path was to be in
fashion and helping others create their own individual look.
I was continually experimenting with fashion,
dressing mannequins, friends and family. Subsequently I
was lucky enough to gain invaluable experience assisting
an incredible stylist which is where I found my niche and
decided that styling was my field.
