Notice of Meeting of the Commissioner’s Court of Montague County
Notice is hereby given that a Called Meeting of the above named Commissioner’s Court will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., in the Montague County Courthouse Annex, County Courtroom, 11339 State Hwy 59 N., Montague, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be discussed, to-wit: 1) Budget Workshop 2) Sydney Nowell, County Tax Assessor/Collector, to present the Certification of Appriased Values for Tax year 2017; take necessary action 3) Sydney Nowell, County Tax Assessor/Collector to present the Effective and Rollback Tax Rate for Tax Year 2017; take necessary action 4) Discuss and consider proposed tax rate, take record vote and schedule public hearings; take necessary action 5) Set Public Hearing date for Fiscal year 2017-2018 County Budget; take necessary action.
