Let me get right to the point by saying that God wants to heal you! God desires to help you and do a work in your life! Many times in the Bible, we will read about God healing, and it refers to mending by stitching, curing, and repairing. Other definitions include being delivered or saved. Now, we know that none of us will live forever, and the Bible does indicate that there is a sickness unto death. The Bible says it is appointed unto men once to die. But I want to convey hope that God does still heal! He wants to take the time to stitch you up and bring wholeness to your life again! He wants to heal diseases and sickness in our bodies, He wants to heal wounded spirits, and He wants to heal tired and confused minds. God still does those things today! We can miss out on miracles by not believing for them. There are two reasons God will heal us: to bring glory to Himself and to help us work in His Kingdom. We can’t work for Him if our bodies, minds, and spirits are not well and whole. If we desire healing for selfish purposes, it’s doubtful we will receive it. God has recently healed folks at Victory Church from skin cancer, sugar diabetes, and other things. He has not forgotten how to heal! He still does today what He did in the New Testament church. As your faith is, so be it unto you!
