The Adam is a good looking car, offering a modern design over its rivals. And with different options and variants, you can’t seem to go wrong.

There are more than one million different combinations of Vauxhall’s new Adam, but there’s one thing it must get right. It has to take on and beat the Mini and Fiat 500 if it wants to be first among the fashionable. To achieve this, Vauxhall has made the Adam very distinct from the similarly sized Corsa, which remains as the mainstream bread-andbutter small car of the range. The Adam is for those seeking something more adventurous and stylish. Buyers can choose from three trim levels, a wide range of exterior colours,
wheel designs and even additional stickers. On the inside, the Adam is just as easily personalised thanks to trim pieces that can be changed quickly and easily at the whim of the owner. The Adam is a good looking car, choosing modern design over its main rivals’ more retro shapes. It has a ‘floating roof’ design that is achieved by running glass and gloss elements around the bases of the rear pillars, which fools the eye into thinking the roof and body are two separate components flying in close formation.
Like most of the competition, the Adam puts form over function when it comes to outright seating capacity. The rear seat can cope with a couple of kids, but legroom is minimal for adults. However, the front seats offer plenty of space and all-round vision is good thanks to the Adam’s large glass area. The compact size of the Adam plays in its favour when it comes to handling. It’s every bit as agile as a Mini thanks to the broad footprint of the Vauxhall and suspension that has just the right amount of give on bumpy roads.
