Welcome to the latest edition of LPA
Studies. This month's feature highlights
the recent 82,000-square-foot corporate
headquarters installation for Pacific Dental
Services (PDS). Facilitated by LPA, a
unique and progressive design approach
led to a change in business practices and
corporate branding for PDS.
Built within a windowless former
manufacturing facility, the overriding goal
of LPA was to create a light, open and
inspirational space that accommodates
a clean modern aesthetic, progressive
office concepts and unique corporate
branding goals.
In addition to establishing a more
creative business approach, internalized
departments were dissolved and unified
through the implementation of social
and collaborative spaces. Open office
solutions, the elimination of panel based
work stations and more flexible furnishing
strategies allows teams to more easily
work together, greatly improving time
management and efficiency.
The design concepts have been unified
through the implementation of an "urban
village" approach that incorporates
boulevards, internalized parks and
departmental neighborhoods.
We hope you will be pleased with the
design for the new PDS headquarters and
that you are inspired to think differently
about the corporate work environment.
