Reining was followed by the Western Riding classes with Senior Horse
won by Heez Zippen Hot and Karen Nicoletto and Select Amateur won
by Mary Treloar riding Tacoen Lord Lennie.
After a well deserved lunch break, the Horsemanship classes started.
Amateur was won by Monique Holden riding RQH Jiminy Cricket,
Junior Youth went to Emily Stewart and Inquisitive Profit, Senior Youth
won by Jaiden Thompson and Dakota Zulu Lisimba, AMQHA Amateur
was awarded to Sharon Currie and SOQ Deliberate Concent and Select
was awarded to Jenny Barnes riding Annlee Ceelebrity.
Western Pleasure followed next with Junior Horse and Amateur Junior
WP awarded to Inscription ridden by Karen Cornish. AMQHA Amateur
went to Sharon Currie riding SOQ Deliberate Concent, Senior Horse
WP went to RQH Bam Ba Lam and Kayla Rainoldi, AMQHA All Age
and AMQHA Youth went to Winderadeen Cee a Passer ridden by Nick
Balchin with Amateur Senior WP being awarded to Monique Holden
riding RQH Jiminy Cricket. Junior Youth was won by Emily Stewart
riding Inquisitive Profit, Senior Youth went to Kayla Rainoldi and RQH
Bam Ba Lam, 2yr went to Chips Sweet Rosalie ridden by Brian Cramp
and finally Select Amateur was taken out by Robyn Davies riding
Charary Zip To Glory.
A big thanks to all the helpers who gave their time to make sure the
State Show ran smoothly - including committee members, both judges,
gate marshalls, ribbon runners and prize organiser - too many names
to be mentioned but they know who they are!
