The popular Pony Club Festival is an
action packed biennial event that
attracts riders of all ages from all
over the state.
The 2013 PCAWA Festival was held
in March at the State Equestrian
Centre. The program has so much
to offer that it is held over two
days so riders can fit in as much
as possible.
With the program offering
events such as hacking, rider
classes, bareback classes,
jumping, dressage, games
and fancy dress, riders have
plenty of events to choose
from and, for many little
riders, the Festival gives a taste of
their first state event.
This year included two extra specialty events a
Jackpot Barrel race to music which was hugely popular
with riders and spectators and even attracted a few
dismounted barrel racers trying their luck on foot!
The Saturday evening saw the PCAWA Riders Advisory
Panel hold a disco, which had little ones grooving the
night away until dragged home to bed by mothers.
This year's Festival was hugely successful and
everyone looks forward to the next Festival in two
year's time.
