and the helpful castle team will be on hand to offer advice and to
show you around. Alternatively, you may prefer to wander alone and
take in the atmosphere of our beautiful venue overlooking the river.
Upper Upnor which is accessed from the
A289, from the Medway Tunnel bound
carriageway only. Take the exit slip towards
Upnor and then take the first right as the
roads bends sharply to the left. There is a
free, public car park at the top of the hill,
from which the castle is a short walk down
the cobbled High Street.
