Page 32 The Dispatch/Maryland Coast Dispatch December 13, 2013 The Mayor’s Bike Program needs YOUR Help In 2005, Berlin Mayor Tom Cardinale, with the generous help of several local donors, initiated a Christmas bike giveaway program. The goal of the program was to provide new bicycles for children who otherwise would not receive one. Often, this bicycle may be the only gift a child receives Christmas morning. Since Mayor Tom’s passing, the Berlin Lions Club has continued the tradition. Please help the Berlin Lions carry on the tradition, and help put a smile on a child’s face Christmas morning. Donations can be dropped off at the Taylor Bank Berlin branch or mailed to: Mayor’s Christmas Bike Fund c/o Taylor Bank, P.O. Box 5, Berlin, MD 21811.
