Website Set up to Track down Toy Counterfeiters
Children are the future of the nation and the world,
therefore, the safety and quality of toys and baby supplies
are critical to the safety, sound mind and body of children.
With the joint efforts of various circles of society for the past
few years, gradual outcomes have been accomplished of
enhancing the qualities of toys and baby supplies, as well
as tracking down selling fake and forged commodities.
Yet, those illegal acts still exist and injuries still happen.
On 26
th
July, Division of Law Enforcement and Supervision
of State General Administration for Quality Supervision in
China held a joint meeting with China Toy & Juvenile
Products Association. The objective was to set up a website
to track down all sorts of illegal actions related to toy
counterfeits. A regulation of tracking down counterfeits
and rights defense was unanimously adopted at the meeting. 28 "Self-disciplined brands/companies" including Hape
International endorsed the website. Vice General Manager of Hape International, Jason Zhou attended the meeting. The
member companies approved an agreement to work together with the government and the association to track trails
through the website and to inject new power of law enforcement of cracking down on counterfeits.
