A c t L o c A L Ly – t h i n k G L o b A L Ly ISR/O REunIOn EnTHuSIASTIC AO MEMbERS MEET In ZuRICH by Michael Stern International editor In June, an enthusiastic group of AO Fraters joined together for a relaxing, fun, informative and enlightening time in Zurich. Many thanks must go out to Convention Marshal Robert Levy and his wife Ariane, Chapter President Mark Margolin and wife Susi, as well as David Goldberg and his wife Mihali, Martin Katz and his wife nitza, George Sirtes and his wife Lorraine and Jacob Zafran and his wife nina, all of the planning committee. Their hard work over the past two years assured that everyone had a memorable time in one of the most scenic and historic cities in the world. Of course, one of the highlights is reconnecting with and meeting new fellow fraters and friends from all over the world, connecting our lives in a way that one can only experience at a true international convention. Old friends caught up on what has been happening in each of their lives since they last met. The opening welcome reception on Wednesday evening gave us the opportunity to share the love that we all have for each other and the commonality we all have in our support of AO fellow fraters from around the world. fraters came from ten different countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Israel, France, Germany, Great Britain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States, all in support of an international organization that promotes the highest ideals of Judaism.
