DUTY TYPE of the motor

The specifications of various duty types are defined by the Stand-
ard CEI EN 60034-1 / IEC34-1.

S1 - Continuous duty

Steady load operation for an indefinite period (N), but long
enough to achieve ther-mal balancing.

S3 - Periodic intermittent duty

Operation according to cycle (C) including steady load time (N)
and rest time (R).
Starts/stops do not affect temperature. The reference cycle (C) is
up to a total of 10 minutes.
