We need to look creatively at how to develop our urban schools and this school does that! Occupying two
floors within an existing building, the flexible teaching spaces respond to new technology and alternative
approaches to teaching at the high school level. They've identified and created great opportunities for both
the joint-use and the re-use of existing facilities. We look forward to experiencing the completed project and
its impact on the educational process and on the community. Programmatically, this is very well thought
out, resulting in a successful design. The accomplishment of this project, given the complexity of all those
involved in the design and planning process, shows the clear genius of the architect-led design.
