To reduce the weight of the bags but not
compromise the protection, KATA developed
a unique combination of perforated super
light, laminated, reinforced EVA and EPE
foams in different densities and textures.
These appear in the construction of the bags
and allow for varying padding options with
maximum functionality and minimal weight.

Spine Guard
KATA's original Spine Guard is an ingenious
steel spring encased in a unique foam shell.
This spine-like-guard is positioned along the
front of our Ultra-Light bags locked in an arc, it
becomes rigid and ensures shock absorbency
protection for the valuable equipment within.

Our advanced Spine Guard MKII is a supple
chain of interlocking vertebrae positioned
along the front of our Pro-Light bags to
ensure super-flexible protection and shock
absorbency for the valuable equipment within.

Aluminum Skeleton
Inspired by the body, we have combined
advanced engineering and innovative materials
to introduce aluminum skeletons in our bags.
These specially designed aluminum alloy
staves and frames create sturdy structural
protection which is guaranteed to be as
light as possible while also distributing the
weight smartly.
