Shreve Memorial Library
At Shreve Memorial Library if you dream it, you'll soon discover you can do it! We're
making it fun and easy to connect with your library, and to access information about your
library's programs, events and happenings. Currently, our print copy is available at all library
branch locations and online at www.shreve-lib.org (just click on the ShreveRead icon). The
online PDF version is searchable, printable, downloadable and share-able! However,
starting in January, we will add two new features. First, you will be able to sign up for email
delivery of the newsletter so you never miss another
issue. Second, you will be able to
interact from the webpage offering links to more pic-
tures and book reviews, to pertinent community and
program resources, and to the latest updates. And you
can comment on your favorite article or picture.
Of course, we will continue to provide you with
the convenience of our new, all color print copy. You can
help us conserve resources by participating in our "Read,
Return, Recycle" campaign. After you read a printed
copy of our newsletter, please return it to the Circula-
tion Desk. The staff will be happy to make these copies
available to the next reader. At the end of the month,
the copies will be bundled for recycling. Let's all do our
part in helping our planet in 2013!

The patrons and staff at
Shreve Memorial Library Hamilton/South Caddo
Resource Center will bury a Time Capsule on Saturday, January 26 @ 2:00 PM. The
public is invited to donate items to be placed in the capsule, which will be retrieved at the
May 30 kick-off event for this year's Summer Reading Program, Dig Into Reading. Because
January is a great time to take stock of the past and set goals for the future, the staff wants to
include the following items:
*Photographs
*Current newspaper and magazine articles *Signature Scrolls
*Essays
*New Year's Resolutions *Predictions
*Note to future self
