About Sonoran Arts League
The Sonoran Arts League's mission is to give to our community by advancing art, artists and art education through leadership and service in the belief that an artistic awareness is essential to the well-being of life and our community.
EXCITEMENT, ENGAGEMENT AND ENRICHMENT
The Sonoran Arts League is a non-profit organization drawing friends and followers from throughout the U.S. and Canada. The League is comprised of more than 650 art enthusiasts — 95% are artists practicing in multiple disciplines such as metal, paint, ceramic, fabric, glass, wax, batik, mosaic, gourds, pastel, pencil and photography — nearly every artistic medium known. Diversity makes us strong and draws new partners in steadily increasing numbers.

ART IN PUBLIC PLACES AND PARTNERSHIPS
The League installs rotating exhibitions during the year at the Desert Foothills Library Gallery and throughout the Town of Cave Creek. Additionally, the League teamed with The Boulders Resort to bring the public an exceptional collection of artwork, workshops, artists-inresidence and events by League artists — all in one beautiful place at The Gallery at el Pedregal. (34505 N. Scottsdale Road, second floor; 480-575-6658) The Sonoran Arts League also has partnered with various community non-profits such as the Foothills Food Bank, the Holland Community Center, WHAM, Arizona Artists Guild, ECS/CCUSD and other visual arts organizations throughout the Valley.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Youth Art & Education committee of the Sonoran Arts League identifies and awards scholarships to promising art students in local high schools.

Workshops, Art Talks, Demonstrations, and Field Trips are just a few of the exceptional learning experiences offered.
Volunteer
Gather with fellow members who, through leadership and service, develop and/or work on a variety of projects that contribute to our community.
