![]() Bulbs are incredibly versatile and can be used for borders, pots, baskets and `naturalising' in meadow or woodland areas. Spring-flowering bulbs planted in your perennial and rose borders will provide early colour, and the growing foliage of the perennials will later hide the withering leaves of the bulbs. Plant bulbs in groups of at least 6 for impact and repeat the groupings more than once, this helps draw the eye through the garden and won't look blocked. You can easily create interest by grouping by plant size, colour and texture. Choose bulb types with different flowering times to lengthen the flowering period. |
