Product accreditations are often called `ecolabels' and
are awarded to individual products via an impartial third
party and audited against standards and are usually
awarded in the country of manufacture. Accreditation
against these standards will require a full assessment of
the environmental impact of a product at every stage of
its life cycle.
Check the product specification sheets to ensure you are
getting the most environmentally responsible product.
