In this half day tour you will have the opportunity to visit
the ruins of the castle which was said to have inspired
Walt Disney's Snow White - St. Hilarion Castle and to en-
joy fabulous views of Kyrenia's coastline from the top.
This is followed by a visit to Bellapais village where Law-
rence Durrell wrote his famous book "Bitter Lemons of
Cyprus", which is an autobiographical work describing the
three years (19531956) he spent on the island of Cyprus.
The village itself is also now very famous as it occupies a
wonderfully scenic spot on the foothills of the Five Fin-
ger Mountain range. Bellapais Abbey is also regarded as a
masterpiece of Gothic Art, and offers fantastic views over
Kyrenia and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea beyond.
If you only have limited free time and you can only take one ex-
cursion, we recommend that you take this one. This Peninsula
is definitely the best part of North Cyprus, which is yet to be
explored by many. Your tour will include a visit to Bogaz fishing
village, then you will be taken to an olive press where you will
be able to taste different types of olive oil. You will then visit
a 5th century church of Ayios Philion followed by lunch where
you will be served Fish or Kebab.
After lunch, we will go to Dipkarpaz village and finally to the
famous Apostolos Andreas Monastery. You will have the op-
portunity to see some wild donkeys, local fauna & flora and
more importantly "subject to weather conditions" you will have
the chance to swim at the beautiful Golden Beach in Karpas.
This tour takes in the ancient sites of the Soli ruins and the
ruins of Vouni Palace.
The 137 room Vouni Palace was built on a hilltop by the
Phoenician pro-Persian king of the neighbouring city of
Marion to watch over the pro-Greek city of Soli, following
an unsuccessful revolt latter against the Persians in 498BC.
Finally we shall visit the interesting St. Mamas Monastery
and archaeological Museum in Guzelyurt. St. Mamas is un-
derstood to be a patron saint of tax evaders!
Have a wonderful experience at a traditional Cypriot Restaurant.
You will start with lots of mezes (traditional Cypriot starters), followed by the main course. If you are a vegetarian
do not panic as most Cypriot foods can be adapted for non-meat eater and can be easily prepared while you enjoy
your starters (Drinks are not included). The entertainment which includes live music, Belly Dancer and Folk Dancers!

If you fancy a little adventure, you should consider the special daily cruises from Kyrenia Harbour to discover the
beauty and mystery of the island from the sea.
We set sail towards the famous Escape beach (west) or Acapulco beach (east) depending on the weather conditions.
On our way we will stop for a refreshing swim, arriving at your destination around noon. The anchor is dropped and
you can have a quick dip before an open buffet lunch is served on board.
After lunch you can swim in the crystal clear waters. Late in the afternoon we leave for a relaxed cruise back to
Kyrenia Harbour.
In this tour you will visit the monastery of St. Barnabas with its famous "room of icons" and archaeology museum,
also you will have a chance to see the tomb of St. Barnabas and then continue to the ancient Roman city of Salamis
which dates back to BC times.
After lunch you will visit the famous Famagusta old city walls, Othello's Tower where Shakespeare was inspired to
write his famous play (built in the 12th Century during the Lusignan period), St. Nicholas Cathedral (Lala Mustafa
Pasha Mosque) and then to the "Ghost City" Varosha.
Being the only remaining divided capital left in the world, Nicosia still retains its old beauty and character with narrow
roads and a blend of cultures.
Sites that we shall visit include; the Green Line, the walls of Nicosia, the Selimiye Mosque (St. Sophia Cathedral), the
Closed Grand Bazaar (Bandabuliya) and the Great Inn (Buyuk Han) of the capital.
