‘Duck Dynasty’ Teen to Visit Balloon Festival
Sadie Robertson, 15-year-old daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson of the A&E smash hit series ‘Duck Dynasty’, will be a special guest for Family Faith Day Sunday, September 15th, during “The Sky’s The Limit” Balloon Spectacular in Gainesville, sponsored by the North Texas Medical Center Foundation. Sadie will be discussing her life in the Dynasty and what family, religion and values mean to her. Sadie is well known for her dimples and engaging smile, but there is more to Sadie than her outer beauty. She has the quick wit of her father, Willie, and the southern charm of her mother Korie. She also possesses the athletic ability of her papaw Phil. She plays basketball, throws the javelin (currently sixth in the state) and plays tennis. Sadie spends her summers on mission trips and working at a Christian youth camp. Her message to her peers is to let your light shine in all that you do. The NTMC Foundation encourages everyone to come and bring their families to hear Sadie’s message of faith and family. She is set to appear at 3 p.m., with a meet and greet immediately following.
